Serena Williams, who loves wearing high heels, says she was 'devastated' when she injured her foot earlier this year.
The tennis star had to stop wearing high heels when she cut her foot shortly after winning the Wimbledon championship in July.
The injury caused her to take a break from the sport and pull out of the US Open.
Although she is upset to have to stop training, Williams says the injury also impacted her life in other ways.

"When I get injured it's devastating because I know I won't be able to wear heels. I'm practically in tears," Stuff.co.nz quoted her as telling SOBeFiT magazine.
The 28-year-old adds: "I'm the complete not-normal athlete, and I often wonder how I got into sports because I hate working out. I hate running. I hate all that stuff," she laughed to the publication.
"I love doing my nails, reading, going to the movies and wearing high heels - the higher the better actually."
