As the entire nation gather to celebrate India's 70th anniversary of Independence, some Indian sports stars took to social networking site Twitter to convey their wishes.
Harbhajan Singh and his Bollywood celeb wife Geeta Basra posted a beautiful photo of the two of them keeping up to the them of the Indian tricolour with a heartfelt message on Instagram.
Among the likes were former India head coach Anil Kumble, cricketers Rohit Sharma and Ravichandran Ashwin, tennis aces Leander Paes and Sania Mirza, boxing champion Mary Kom, former cricketer VVS Laxman and Jwala Gutta others.
Harbhajan Singh went on to post a video of himself wishing his Indian fans on the historic day.
Pakistan's Shahid Afridi too, took to Twitter to wish India on their Independence Day. Pakistan celebrated their independence on 14 August.
