Rizvi College bowl out Somani for 20!

Akhil Rajput's 89-ball 141 and Saurabh Ambre's 102 off 63 balls helped Rizvi College post a massive 411-run win over BD Somani College in the inaugural edition of Rizvi Champions Trophy quarter-final at the MB Union ground, Cross Maidan yesterday.


Chasing Rizvi's 431 runs in 40 overs, Somani College were bowled out for a mere 20 runs in nine overs. Left-arm pacer Atif Attarwala claimed seven wickets for 11 runs.

In another quarter-final, Ruparel College got the better of Thakur College by 44 runs. Rizvi will meet Ruparel in the first semi-final while Podar College will take on Jhunjhunwala College in the second.
