Pune: Mumbai's Aryan Goveas came up with a solid all-round performance to outplay Tejas Chaukalkar in three sets and lift the men's singles title in the Rs 5 lakh AITA All-India Ranking Pune Open Tennis Tournament at the Deccan Gymkhana on Saturday.

Goveas thus completed a creditable double adding to the doubles title he won on Friday.
The 17-year-old Goveas, a student of Rizvi College, Bandra, won the two-hour contest 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 to take home the winner's purse of R35,100 and bagged 60 AITA points.
