Bangalore: Hosts Bengaluru Bulls defeated Bengal Warriors 37-24 in a one-sided match of the Pro Kabaddi League at the Kanteerava Indoor Stadium here on yesterday to keep their hopes alive for a semi-final spot.
It was the Bulls who completely dominated the second half after a neck-and-neck battle in the first half against Warriors, much to the delight of a vociferous home crowd.
With this win the Bulls remained fifth in the league table, bagging 36 points in 11 games. Bulls began fiercely and were leading 15-12 at the breather. But Bengaluru thereafter clearly dominated the second half,
eventually getting the better of the Warriors and emerging victorious by a scoreline of 37-24.
