PG Garodia (Ghatkopar) won the boys' U-16 title while Bombay Scottish (Mahim) won the girls crown to emerge under-16 champions in the 2nd Don Bosco inter- school basketball championship.

PG Garodia saved the best for the last when they beat Shishuvan, Matunga 54-35 in the final. Following a subdued start in which they led 21-14 at half-time, Garodia found the basket at regular intervals in the third quarter in which they fired 17 points for a 38-23 advantage.
Bombay Scottish rallied from a 10-12 half-time deficit to beat formidable Mary Immaculate, Borivali 26-16 in an exciting girls' championship round.
