ST Stanislaus (Bandra) beat Don Bosco 'A' (Matunga) 4-2 via shootout to emerge winners in the Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA)-organised St Andrew's Challenge Shield league-cum-knockout U-14 boys hockey final at the Naigaon Police Ground in Parel on Saturday. The game headed for a shootout after the score read 0-0 at the end of regulation time. In the tie-breaker, Shayne D'Costa, Adrian Kadam, Sean Gonsalves and Aaron D'Costa scored for Stanislaus. However, among the Bosco boys, only Atharva Bandekar and Aryan Pagare succeeded in beating Stanislaus goalkeeper Gavin Pereira.

Meanwhile, in the Fr Donnelly Challenge Cup league-cum-knockout U-14 girls final, St Elias (Khar) comfortably beat Carmel of St Joseph School (Malad) 3-0 to win top honours. Aradhana Jadhav scored twice for St Elias (8th and 32nd minutes), while Madhavi Jadhav (10th) netted once for the Khar school.
