Ahmedabad: Poland produced a terrific performance to score an upset win as they beat Iran 41-25 in the Kabaddi World Cup here yesterday.

If Thailand beat Japan in their last game of Group B, they will top the table and Iran could end up playing Korea in the semi-finals.

India captain Anup Kumar trashed reports about his international retirement. "I want to clarify I have no plans of calling it quits. What I said was one day everyone has to retire but I am still fit to represent my country, so why should I?" he said.
