Intelenet's Salman Ahmed scored an unbeaten 74 to help his side beat Mumbai Police by five wickets in the Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers (RCF) Corporate Twenty20 tournament for the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Cup.
Ahmed's 54-ball knock was laced with six boundaries and five sixes. Put into bat, Mumbai Police's Shahid Shaikh (64) and Swapnil Kulaye (52) posted a 76-run third-wicket partnership as the policemen posted 159-8.
However, Intelenet ended up comfortably chasing the runs in 19.2 overs with five wickets in hand.
Dena Bank bt Mafatlal
In the other tie, Akash Parkar's unbeaten 84 helped Dena Bank register an eight-wicket win over Mafatlal Cricket Club. Sanket Jadhav top-scored for Mafatlal with 80 .
