After leading India to its third consecutive World Cup triumph, 32-year-old Anup Kumar is aspiring to play in the Olympics. "The World Cup win is a very big achievement for me. I am really finding it difficult to express what it means to me in words. I am expecting to represent my country in the Olympics.

The International Kabaddi Federation (IKF) and Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) are both trying hard to include kabaddi in the Olympics. I hope they will succeed in doing this," Anup told mid-day on Sunday.

A brilliant performance from raider Ajay Thakur helped India beat Iran 38-29 in the summit clash after trailing 13-18 at half-time on Saturday. Thakur scored 12 raid points to leave the Iranian defence in tatters.
