Pune: Apprentice rider D S Daman, claiming a useful 3.5 kg allowance, rode three horses to victory one after another to steal the limelight. In the opening race of the card the rookie rider took Adhirajsingh Jodha-trained 15-1 Seacrets on a start-to-finish mission and swept his rivals off their feet to win the Pleassures Plate for older horses in class IV; then quickly followed it up with another 15-to-1 shot astride Square Moon, trained by Adhirajsingh's father Magansingh Jodha.

An hour later, he steered the well-supported Jacknife to another wire-to-wire victory for trainer Cooji Katrak. Such was the lad's form today, that he also finished on with a flourish with A M Jadhav-trained Cezanne to grab the runner up spot behind public choice Don Corleone (S A Amit up) who won the D K Ashish Trophy for trainer Sanjay Kolse, thus finishing in the money with all his four mounts on the card.
