Union Bank of India, Mumbai, went down fighting 2-3 to Punjab National Bank, Delhi, in the final Pool-D league match of 52nd Bombay Gold Cup Hockey Tournament yesterday. Both the teams, however, advanced to the quarter-finals from this pool. PNB topped the pool and will meet Western Railway, Mumbai, while Union Bank will take on Indian Oil in the last eight. Earlier, the oilmen eased to a fluent 6-3 win against Indian Navy in Pool-C tie.
