Pallikal's title success in the USD 35,000 Macau Open and quarterfinal appearance in the USD 50,000 China Open in Shanghai led to rise in her rankings, which were released by the World Squash Association (WSA) today.
Pallikal has entered the top 10 of the world rankings for the first time since December 2012 despite struggling with an indifferent form this season, losing to Annie Au of Hong Kong in the qualifiers at the Tournament of Champions in New York.
The 22-year-old Chennai player also lost to England's World No.4 Alison Waters in the first round of the Cleveland Classic.
