Yesterday, the 15-year-old student of the Atomic Energy Secondary School No 1 (Anushaktinagar) won the girls U-17 gold in the 200m and silver in the 100m of the District Sports Office (DSO) district athletics meet at Sports Authority of India (SAI) Kandivli track. In the 200m,

Amruta clocked 28.2s to win gold ahead of Vishakha Upadhyay of Rustomjee International, Dahisar (28.4s) and Kanika Shetty of Rustomjee International, Dahisar (28.6).
