Cycling has moved on, says UCI chief Pat McQuaid

Cycling is reeling in the wake of the Armstrong crisis but the sport has moved on since doping was said to be rife among top cyclists, riders and officials said Saturday at the season's final race.


"There is big damage to the image of the sport but the sport is going very well. he sport has moved on... the peloton today is completely different," said International Cycling Union (UCI) president Pat McQuaid told AFP said on the sidelines of the Tour of Beijing, adding that UCI has sought to improve doping procedures within the sport.u00a0
