And this was on view when the two teams faced off in yesterday's MSSA boys' U-16 Elite Division match at Azad Maidan. The match aptly ended in a 1-1 draw.

St Mary's ICSE skipper Denzel Colaco opened the scoring before St Mary's SSC's Hamza Shaikh restored parity. Denzel was disappointed with the draw. "We wait for an opportunity to play each other. Today, we were leading but then conceded a silly goal," rued Denzel.

Mary's SSC coach Jacob Paul felt his team was superior. "The rivalry has been there for ages. Both schools have different styles. While we play aggressive football, they are more defensive," said Paul.
