St Joseph's opened the scoring when Anuj Koli trapped Deepesh Vishvakarma's pass from the left and beat goalkeeper Vivaan with a firm shot from inside the area in the 14th minute. Seven minutes later, St Joseph's doubled the lead when Shaurya Masha fired home close. The Orlem team scored the third goal through Vedant Sonar in the 37th minute.

Campion in semi-finals

Defending champions Campion School (Cooperage) inspired by goalkeeper Aarav Sanghvi's brilliance, defeated Cathedral & John Connon (For) 3-2 via the tie-breaker in the DSO (District Sports Office) organised Subroto Mukherjee Trophy boys' under-17 quarter-final at the Jamnabai Narsee School ground, Juhu. Captained by dependable defender Kye D'Souza, Campion consisting of 15-year-old players did well to hold the senior boys from Cathedral team to a goalless draw before the penalty shootout.
