MYJ Orlem emerged champions in the veterans category of the Mumbai Rink Football League after a thrilling penalty-shootout victory over Golden Gunners Versova.

Golden Gunners scored through Melwin Vaz and Alok Thakkar only to see MYJ Orlem equalise through Agnelo Picardo and Glen Moraes for MYJ and take the match into the tie-breaker. In the shootout, Sheldon Sharma, Suraj Shetty and Picardo converted their shots while only Johnathan Fernandes and Thakkar could score for the Gunners.

In the men's final, PCPL Uncle's Kitchen United went down fighting 2-3 to Kalina Rangers. UK United's Nayan Kajve was on fire, scoring both the goals for his team after Kalina scored once through Scott Moraes and twice through Shoibh Baig, who was named best player of the tournament. Chembur FC's Aditya Sharma was adjudged the best player in the U-17 category while Nishika Parkash of Baccaim FC was named best women's player.
