Mahika Praveen played a stellar role as Dhirubhai Ambani International (BKC) powered to a 7-0 win over Ryan International ICSE (Chembur) in a MSSA girls' U-12 inter-school football match at Azad Maidan on Saturday.
Mahika scored as many as five goals as her team steamrolled the opposition in a lop-sided encounter. Mahika's teammates Siana Tandon and Diya Ghadiali contributed one goal each to complete the rout.

Meanwhile, on Friday, Smt RSB Arya Vidya Mandir's (Juhu) boys and girls teams tasted victories. The AVM boys beat Holy Family (Andheri) 2-1 with Rishan Arora and Prithviraj Tanpure scoring a goal each. Shaun D'Souza pulled one back for Holy Family. The AVM girls beat Bombay International School (Babulnath) 1-0 with Alysa Hora netting the winner.
In another U-12 boys match, St Anne's HS (Orlem) defeated Don Bosco HS (Borivli) 2-1. Daksh Acharya and Kayden Vaz scored for St Anne's while Asher Aranha netted for Don Bosco. Earlier, Motiwala Zakariya's lone goal saw St Mary's ICSE (Mazgaon) beat St Francis D'Assisi HS (Borivli) 1-0, while Dhirubhai Ambani International (BKC) defeated St Joseph's HS (Wadala) 2-0. Aarav Nair and Ilaan Kapadia scored for the victors.
