The 16-year-old, who made history in September when he became the youngest ever player to score for the Spain national team, left the camp after the medical team "determined he could not participate in the next two qualifying matches," the federation said in a statement. Yamal had been in doubt after Barcelona announced the teenager had suffered a hip flexor problem during the Catalan side's 2-2 draw with Granada in La Liga.
