Former England football star Frank Lampard's wife Christine delivered a baby boy last week. According to British tabloid, The Sun, the couple are in a bubble of absolute joy after welcoming son Frederick George Lampard.

"Christine and Frank are over the moon after the birth of their little boy. His name is Frederick George but he will be Freddie for short. The family are back home now and in a bubble of absolute joy and happiness. Christine gave birth last week and everything went smoothly. Mum and baby are both doing really well and Frank has been spreading the happy news. He has been sending out messages and he's clearly proud as punch. Patricia is already a sweet big sister and the whole family are in a happy bubble," a source told the newspaper.

On Tuesday, Lampard and Christine shared the news on social media. Christine Instagrammed the above picture and wrote: "Let us introduce you to our newest addition...Frederick [Freddie] George Lampard! We are completely in love."

Lampard has daughter Patricia, two, with Christine and Luna, 15, and Isla, 13 with ex-partner Elen Rives.
