“We’re not going to be able to let people in. There’s a clear edict from UEFA on what the bubbles need to look like to be as secure as we can make them. It’s never going to be 100 per cent fail safe but we’ve got to comply with as much as we can,” said Southgate.

England WAGs and their families will not be allowed to see the footballers at the St George's Park team hotel for the entire duration of Euro (June 11-July 11). Matches will be held all over Europe and the England team will be based in London during the tournament. According to British tabloid, The Sun, England boss Gareth Southgate revealed UEFA protocols around Covid-19 make it impossible for players to meet their loved ones.

"We're not going to be able to let people in. There's a clear edict from UEFA on what the bubbles need to look like to be as secure as we can make them. It's never going to be 100 per cent fail safe but we've got to comply with as much as we can," said Southgate.
