American footballer proposes to girlfriend on the field

American football player Hassani Dotson gave a surprise of a lifetime to his girlfriend, Petra Vuckovic when he proposed to her on the field after a match.

Dotson was representing Major League Soccer club Minnesota United against San Jose Earthquake. After the match, Dotson went down on one knee to pop the question as a stunned Vuckovic said yes to a huge cheer from the crowd.

Dotson Instagrammed the video and captioned it: "I liked it…So I put a ring on it." Vukovic too shared her feelings on Instagram. "There aren't words that express anything close to the happiness my heart feels. To be loved by you is a blessing Hassani…A HUGE thank you for all of the wishes and to everyone who was involved in helping put this beautiful everlasting memory into my life," she wrote.
