Rumours of a romance between former Manchester United defender and England international Rio Ferdinand and actress Kate Wright have been doing the rounds ever since they were first linked in January.
The couple was first seen in public together when having lunch in London, reported The Sun.
In March, the British tabloid had reported that the 38-year-old former footballer had spent the night with the 26-year-old at her Essex flat.
In June, Ferdinand, who is now a BT Sport pundit after retiring in 2015, spent a romantic weekend at her home.
This is his first relationship since girlfriend Rebecca Ellison died of breast cancer in 2015. The couple had three children - daughter Tia (six), and sons Tate (eight) and Lorenz (10).
