Patriots present Tom Brady 408kg cake for his birthday

The cake weighed 900lb and was cast in the shape of number 12

National Football League (NFL) star player Tom Brady turned 41 on Friday and to make his birthday extra special, New England Patriots presented him a cake with No 12 (his jersey number) that weighed a whopping 900lbs (approx 408 kg).

It took three days to assemble the 12-foot long sponge cake. According to NFL Network, it took 2,000 eggs, 200lbs (approx 90 kg) of flour and 250lbs (approx 113 kg) of sugar to make the giant cake that was kept at the Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts. We are not sure if the five-time Super Bowl champion, who follows a strict diet, tasted the cake.

Meanwhile, wishing the Patriots quarterback, Brady's supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen wrote on Instagram: "Happy birthday my love! We love you so much !!! Keep on shining bright."
