Cuttack: Maharashtra girl's exhibited plenty of resilience and excellent fighting qualities as they recorded a come-from-behind 2-1 victory against Manipur in a Group-A quarter-final league match of the AIFF Sub-Junior Girls' Under-15 National Football Championship yesterday.

Having earlier lost 0-3 to Haryana in the opening quarter-final league encounter, the Maharashtra team who required a win at all cost to keep alive their hopes of advancing to semi-final round rose to the challenge in splendid fashion.
Skipper Bhagyashree Dalvi and Shemchui Ningsheng contributed one goal each in Maharashtra's victory.
