Pune: Believe in yourself and there is nothing that can stop you from reaching the pinnacle - this is what the only woman physio in the Indian Super League (ISL), Lena Fallqvist believes in "I don't find myself different from the men around me," said FC Pune City's Lena on the sidelines of the team's practice session at the St Vincent's school ground yesterday.

Despite being 51, Lena still comfortably competes with young national athletes. In fact, many players from the Pune franchise even call her 'mummy', a nickname that she takes incredible pride in.

Matter of pride
"Being an athlete is something that I am proud of. Training youngsters and watching them do well in different sports is something that I cherish," she added.

The Swede, who completed her education from Sport Medicine University and the Gothenburg Gymnastic Institute (GGI), specialises in nutrition and physiotherapy and believes that Indian women too can conquer the world.

"My message to all the Indian women is: do not feel out of place. Come out and face the world and you will conquer it all," said Lena.
