It has not been an ideal start to the Christmas holidays for footballer Gerard Pique and his pop-star partner Shakira.
The couple was en route to Shakira's native Colombia, where they plan to spend the festive holiday with the singer's family. But on December 19, Pique lost his temper with the paparazzi after they were followed at Barcelona airport.

The couple with their two sons Sasha (3) and Milan (1) were all set to take a flight to Miami, Florida where a camerawoman took pictures of the family at the departure terminal. Pique appeared to be frustrated by the shutterbug and allegedly got physical with her, pushing her arm away and demanding she stop taking photographs reported Xpose.ie.
According to reports, the footballer sarcastically congratulated the photographer on her job of hounding celebrities, before disappearing into a VIP lounge as they waited for their flight. The family was later spotted landing in Miami, where they appeared to be in a better mood and the Spain football star was seen smiling as he carried Sasha and held Milan's hand.
