Former Argentina football captain Diego Maradona was yesterday filmed slapping a journalist for allegedly winking at his former partner.

The video that has been doing the rounds of a host of social media websites, shows the 53-year-old angrily confronting the reporter even as his children watched from his car.
Maradona is seen going up to the man and calling him an "idiot" before slapping him in the face.
The 1986-World Cup-winner and former Argentina coach is then seen getting back into his car and driving off. It was later reported that the journalist winked at Maradona's former partner Veronica Ojeda.
Maradona and his family were celebrating Children's Day at an event in the Argentine capital city of Buenos Aires when the incident occurred.
