David Moyes has been breaking Manchester United records all season. Unfortunately, they happen to be the unwanted ones.
And that has led to widespread reports released at the same time on websites of numerous British newspapers that Moyes is set to be fired by United and could be forced out before the end of the season.
Moyes was hand-picked by Alex Ferguson, who ended his 27-year reign as United manager at the end of last season.
But the Red Devils have struggled this season, with the Scot having picked up one ignominious first after another even as his first season at Old Trafford continues on a downward curve.
David Moyes has overseen a record-breaking season at Manchester United - but for all the wrong reasons.
And with the season far from over, Moyes, who turns 51 on Wednesday, will certainly continue to break records.
Sunday's defeat at Everton means that the defending champions cannot finish in the top four this season, the first time they have failed to qualify for the Champions League since 1995.
The result also gifted the Toffees their first league double over United since 1969-70.
