There's a famous adage which says 'looks can be deceptive'. One who fell prey to such a situation was none other than Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo.
Model Kristina Peric revealed how Ronaldo was stunned when he thought Kristina was his ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk.

Nothing was wrong with the Real Madrid striker; it's just that Kristina was a lookalike of Irina.
Interestingly, both of them met while Ronaldo was going through a crisis in his five-year relationship with Irina.

"The first time this makeup artist David saw me, he said, 'I have to introduce you to Ronaldo. You and Irina look almost identical - and I am sure he is going to like you," Kristina was quoted as saying by The Sun.
"Ronaldo is not burdened by his money and fame. He behaves like a normal guy from the hood," she added.
