Former England star Frank Lampard was in for a terrible shock when burglars ransacked his family home in search for his late mum Pat's jewellery. According to The Sun, the thieves destroyed furniture and ripped cupboards off the walls at the house where currently Lampard's dad Frank Sr still lives.
However, they failed to find the jewellery.
"They made a right mess. They were obviously looking for money or jewellery but there wasn't anything there. There was some junk jewellery lying about but they didn't take it. They knew what they wanted," Frank Sr said.
