Sri Lanka's legendary spinner Muttiah Muralitharan enjoys the top spot on the list with 67 five-wicket hauls in the history of Test cricket. The former Sri Lankan cricketer featured in 133 matches for his side and has snapped 800 wickets

Team India's Ravichandran Ashwin recently claimed six wickets in a Test match against Bangladesh. So far, the veteran has played 101 matches in which he has 522 wickets for India

Late Australian Shane Warne is sharing the spot with Ashwin. The former Australian registered 37 fifers in his entire Test cricket. Having played 145 Test, he had 708 wickets and is known as one of the finest spinners across the globe

Sir Richard Hadlee comes in the fourth position. He represented New Zealand in 86 Test matches and has 36 fifers to his name. In as many Test matches, he snapped 431 wickets for the side

The fifth place is in the name of legendary Indian spinner Anil Kumble. The veteran represented Team India in 132 longest-format matches and has 35 five-wicket hauls registered under his name. He ended his Test career with 619 wickets
