Rohit Sharma-led Indian team will clash with Ireland in their T20 World Cup opening match at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium. The match will start at 8.00 PM according to the Indian Standard Time

Earlier, both teams had seven faceoffs out of which the "Men in Blue" won all the matches. Ireland is yet to register a win against India in the T20Is

Star all-rounder Hardik Pandya's form will be crucial for the "Men in Blue" throughout the tournament. In the warm-up match against Bangladesh, facing just 23 deliveries, the right-hander smashed unbeaten 40 runs including 2 fours and 4 sixes. With the ball, Pandya was able to pick one wicket for 30 runs in three overs
