Kane Williamson became the first player from New Zealand to make it to the IPL orange cap winners list. He scored 735 runs in 17 innings helped Sunrisers reach the final, where they lose against the Chennai Super Kings thanks to Shane Watson's brilliant century.
David Warner is the only player who won the orange cap three times. He scored 692 runs in just 12 innings for the Sunrisers, including a brilliant century against Kolkata.
KL Rahul was one of most promising batsman for Punjab kings in 2020 IPL. Though Punjab kings failed to reach the playoffs. He scored 670 runs as an opener.
Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 635 runs in 16 innings an uncapped India player, added himself to the IPL orange cap list. which included his debut IPL century against the Rajasthan Royals, ensured that Chennai clinched their fourth IPL title.
Jos buttler scored 863 runs in IPL 2022, the second-most by any batter in a single season after Virat Kohli.
