Kane Williamson enjoys the top spot among the current players. Featuring 13 Test matches, the Kiwi stalwart has accumulated 871 runs against India in the longest format of the game. He also has two centuries and five half-centuries with a top score of 131 runs
Team India's Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara comes second on the list of active players. Playing 12 matches against New Zealand, the right-hander has smashed 867 runs including two tons and four fifties. His career-best score against the "Black Caps" is 159 runs in the format
The third place is in the name of Indian stalwart Virat Kohli. So far, playing 11 Tests against New Zealand, Kohli has 866 runs with a best score of 211 runs. He has three centuries and the same number of half-centuries against the Kiwis
India's reliable batsman Ajinkya Rahane has his name scripted in the fourth position. He has played nine Tests in which he scored 703 runs against New Zealand. 188 is his best score against them and Rahane also has two centuries and one fifty against the team
New Zealand skipper Tom Latham is in the fifth place. He has 547 runs in nine Test matches against India. With a best score of 95 runs, Latham has seven half-centuries to his name against Team India in Test cricket
