Team India went all guns blazing during the second Test match against Bangladesh. On Day five, the hosts' bowlers showcased their exceptional skills and helped the side bowl out the "Bengal Tigers" for 146 runs. Rohit Sharma-led side won the match by seven wickets

Initially in the match, when Bangladesh was bowled out for 233 runs, star Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja snapped his 300th wicket in the Test format

In India's first innings, opening duo Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal went all guns blazing. The left-right batting pair helped India register the fastest team 50 in the format's history. They reached the score of 50 in a mere three overs

After Rohit's departure, Shubman Gill shouldered Jaiswal in the run riot. The duo put on a score of 100 runs in just 10.1 overs by improving their own previous record. Earlier, they recorded the fastest team 100 against West Indies in 2023

Stalwart Virat Kohli partnering up with KL Rahul registered the team's fastest 200 runs. They crossed the mark in 24.2 overs

During the partnership with Rahul, Virat Kohli attained the feat of completing 27,000 international runs. With this, he became the fastest batsman to achieve the feat by surpassing Sachin Tendulkar's record of 623 innings. Kohli took just 594 innings to reach the feat of 27,000 international runs

In Bangladesh's first innings, Mominul Haque played an unbeaten knock of 107 runs off 194 deliveries. His knock was laced with 17 fours and 1 six. With this, he became the only second Bangladeshi batsman to score a century on Indian conditions
