Team India's Wriddhiman Saha took to his official social media handle to announce that the ongoing Ranji Trophy season will be his last for Bengal

Hailed as one of the finest wicketkeeper-batsmen, Wriddhiman Saha has delivered quite crucial performances for the Indian team as well

Facing prime Australia back in 2017, Wriddhiman Saha played a memorable knock of 117 runs. Coming to bat at number eight position, the right-hander faced 233 delivered and smashed 8 fours and 1 six. In the same match, Saha grabbed two catches donning the "Big Gloves"

Against Bangladesh in 2017, Saha smashed an unbeaten 106 runs. With the top-order batsman enjoying their rich vein in form, the West Bengal-born cricketer didn't take a step back in showcasing his prowess. His unbeaten 106-run knock came in 155 balls which was laced with 7 fours and 2 sixes. Wriddhiman also took four catches in the same match against the "Bengal Tigers"

In a Test match against West Indies in their backyard, the right-hander showcased his patience and played a gritty knock which came in 227 balls. Later, his knock came to an end with a score of 104 runs including 13 fours in the first essay. In the second innings, he departed early for 14 runs. He also took two catches in the same match

Apart from this, Saha is placed in the fourth position on the list of players with the most dismissals in a Test match. In the year 2018 in a Test match against South Africa, Wriddhiman grabbed 10 catches

He also shares the top spot along with five other players on the list of substitutes to take the most number of catches in a Test match which is four
