One of the finest batsmen in the game, Virat Kohli announced his retirement after winning the T20 World Cup 2024 on June 29 against South Africa in Barbados. With this T20 World Cup, Kohli has now named all the ICC white-ball trophies to his name which include, ODI World Cup 2011 and Champions Trophy 2013

The star Indian batsman ended his T20I career as the second-highest run-scorer in the format. Having played 125 T20I matches for India, Kohli accumulated 4,188 runs with a best score of unbeaten 122 runs

He is in fourth place on the list of highest career batting averages in the T20 Internationals which is 48.69

India's Virat Kohli is sharing the top spot with Pakistan's Babar Azam for the most number of fifties in the shortest format. In 125 matches, he has 39 half-centuries to his name

The "Run Machine" of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli is the fastest batsman to complete 3,500 runs in T20Is. The veteran took just 96 innings to attain the feat
