In the second T20I against Scotland, Australia posted a target of 197 runs on board. During the innings, Josh Inglis slammed 100 runs off just 43 balls and became the fastest centurion in Australia's T20I history. His knock ended with a score of 103 runs in 49 balls including 7 fours and 7 sixes
Coming second on the list is Aaron Finch. On August 29, 2013, in the T20I match against England, Finch reached the celebrated three figures in 47 balls. Later, the veteran returned to the pavilion with a score of 156 runs in 63 balls which has 11 fours and 14 sixes in it
Inglis comes again on the list. In the T20I against India on November 23, 2023, the right-hander took 47 balls to complete his century. His innings lasted for 50 balls with a score of 110 runs including 11 fours and 8 sixes
The fourth place is in the name of star Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell. He too faced 47 balls to reach 100 runs against India at Guwahati on November 28, 2023. He stayed unbeaten after 48 balls. In his unbeaten knock of 104 runs, Maxwell smashed 8 fours and 8 sixes
The fifth place is again in the name of Maxwell. This time the rivals against which he showcased one of Australia's fine knocks in the format was Sri Lanka. Facing 49 balls, the swashbuckler completed his century. Yet again, he stayed unbeaten with a score of 145 runs which came in 65 deliveries including 14 fours and 9 sixes
