82* vs Pakistan in 2022

One of the finest knocks played by Virat Kohli in T20 World Cups was against the arch-rivals Pakistan. During the high-voltage match between India and Pakistan at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, the "Men in Blue" needed to chase a target of 160 runs. In the run chase, India lost the early wickets of their openers and that's when Virat Kohli played his masterful knock of unbeaten 82 runs. Despite losing the wickets in regular intervals, Kohli smashed unbeaten 82 runs in 53 deliveries. His knock was laced with 6 fours and 4 sixes. The veteran was awarded the "Player of the Match" award

82* vs Australia in 2016

In 2016, Team India was chasing a total of 161 runs set by Australia in a World T20 match in Mohali. Openers Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma departed on the score of 12 and 13 runs, respectively. The Indian stalwart Kohli yet against proved his worth in the team by smashing an unbeaten 82 runs, Facing just 51 balls, the right-hander slammed 9 fours and 2 sixes. For his match-winning knock, Virat Kohli won the "Player of the Match" award

78* vs Pakistan in 2012

In the mega clash between the two cricketing giants, India and Pakistan, the "Green Shirts" managed to put 128 on board against India. In the run chase, the "Men in Blue" star opening batsman Gautam Gambhir departed on a duck. Virender Sehwag scored 29 runs before getting dismissed in Shahid Afridi's over. Coming in to bat, Kohli faced 61 deliveries in which he accumulated 78 runs. During his knock, the right-hander blasted 8 fours and 2 sixes. Virat Kohli also registered one wicket following which he was named the "Player of the Match"

72* vs South Africa in 2014

In the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2014, the chase master Virat Kohli yet again delivered another stunning knock. Having needed to chase a gigantic total of 173 runs against Pakistan, Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane returned to the pavilion with scores of 24 and 32 runs, respectively. Facing 44 deliveries, Kohli smashed 72 runs including 5 fours and 2 sixes. Following the successful run chase by the Indians, Kohli won the "Player of the Match" award

55* vs Pakistan in 2016

In the run chase of 119 runs against arch-rivals Pakistan, Virat Kohli slammed unbeaten 55 runs in just 37 balls, including 7 fours and 1 six. Following his masterclass, the Indian star registered another "Player of the Match" award to his name
