137 vs South Africa (ICC World Cup 2015)

Batting first in the match Shikhar Dhawan opened the innings with star opener Rohit Sharma. India lost the early wicket of Rohit. Thereafter, Shikhar Dhawan went on to score 137 runs in 146 deliveries. Accompanying him was Virat Kohli who later missed his half-century by four runs. Dhawan's 137-run knock was laced by 16 fours and 2 sixes. With Ajinkya Rahane's 79 in the middle, India put on a target of 308 for South Africa to chase down. The 'Men in Blue' won the match by 130 runs. 

113 vs South Africa (Champions Trophy 2013)

A 2013 Champions Trophy match between India and South Africa at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff witnessed another Dhawan's heroism. Having not won the toss, India needed to bat first in the match. Rohit Sharma smashed 65 runs before getting caught in the hands of

 

100 vs Australia (6th ODI)

A sixth ODI played between two cricketing giants India and Australia in Nagpur saw the domination of India's top-order batting line-up. South Africa batted first in the innings and set a target of 351 runs for the Indians to chase down. Rohit Sharma smashed a fabulous 79 runs and lost his wicket to Aaron Finch. Shikhar Dhawan did not take a step back and completed his century in 102 balls. That day, the left-hander smashed 11 fours before getting bowled by James Faulkner. Later with the help of Virat Kohli's ton, India successfully chased the target and won the match by six wickets

132 vs Sri Lanka (1st ODI 2017)

Having batted first in the match, the Lankans smashed 216 before getting all-out. While chasing second, India lost the early wicket of Rohit Sharma. Thereafter, Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli took control in their hands. That day, Dhawan smashed 132 runs in just 90 balls. His fierce innings was laced by 20 fours and 3 sixes. Accompanying him was Kohli who scored 82 runs. India won the match by nine wickets against Sri Lanka 

97 vs England (4th ODI, 2014)

India clashed with England in the 4th ODI at Edgbaston Stadium in 2014. Having won the toss, India elected to field first in the match. England set a target of 207 runs for the 'Men in Blue'. Opening the batting with Ajinkya Rahane, Shikhar Dhawan scored match match-winning 97 runs. Rahane on the other hand, smashed 106 before getting dismissed by Harry Gurney. India chased the target successfully and won the match by nine wickets
