The most recent and celebrated record of Sanju Samson came in the shortest format of the game. In the ongoing T20I series against South Africa, the right-hander registered a fiery ton in the first match. This marked him as the first-ever Indian batsman to smash two consecutive centuries in T20Is. His previous century came against Bangladesh

Sanju Samson along with Deepak Hooda have scripted their name in the third place for the highest partnership for the second wicket in T20Is. In a T20I match against Ireland in Dublin, the Indian duo accumulated 176 runs in the year 2022

Samson also has his name in the sixth position for the most runs in a T20I innings by a wicket-keeper. In the match against Bangladesh, the Kerala man smashed 111 runs off just 47 deliveries which was laced with 11 fours and 8 sixes
