In the T20 Internationals, Rohit Sharma holds the record for the most runs scored. Featuring in 159 T20I matches, the right-hander amassed 4,231 runs with a highest score of unbeaten 121 runs

Rohit is also sharing the top spot with Australia's Glenn Maxwell for the most number of centuries in the format. The Indian skipper ended his T20I career with a total number of five centuries in the shortest format of the game

In the half-centuries, the Indian captain is in the third place. He has a tally of 37 half-centuries in the T20 Internationals

Rohit Sharma, renowned as the "Hitman" of Indian cricket also holds the record for the most sixes. Having made appearances in 159 matches, the aggressive Indian opening batsman smashed 205 sixes in his T20I career

Rohit Sharma announced his retirement from the format after lifting the T20 World Cup 2024 by defeating South Africa in Barbados. He was also part of the Indian squad in the 2007 T20 World Cup triumph
