Royal Challenges Bengaluru is all set to take on Chennai Super Kings in the opener of the IPL 2024. The match is scheduled to begin at 7.30 PM at the MA Chidambaram Stadium

Ahead of the clash, Virat Kohli will be the key play for the Challengers as the veteran will return to action after a two-month-long break. In the previous edition, Kohli finished as the fourth-highest run-scorer in the league

Defending champions Chennai Super Kings will begin their IPL 2024 campaign under the newly appointed captain Ruturaj Gaikwad. Former captain MS Dhoni who led the side to five IPL titles will only donn the big gloves

A big question for CSK will be the opening pair for the entire season. With Devon Conway being ruled out of the league due to injury, Gaikwad will be seen opening the innings with a new partner

IPL debutant Rachin Ravindra can open the innings for the side. The youngster has put on an impressive show with the willow for New Zealand
