During the first innings of the match, Sunrisers Hyderabad batsman Abhishek Sharma smashed the fastest fifty for the side in the league's history. The youngster achieved a score of 50 in just 16 deliveries. Teammate Travis Head recorded the second-fastest fifty for SRH. He completed his half-century in 18 balls
The match also saw the highest-ever aggregate in a T20 match. The match between Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad ended with a total score of 523 runs
During the match, both teams jointly smashed 38 maximums which is the highest number of sixes recorded in a T20 match
The historic clash between MI and SRH also saw the league completing the most number of sixes after eight matches which is 153 sixes
