Kolkata Knight Riders are all set to lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad in the finals of the IPL 2024. The match is set to be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium at 7.30 PM

The most explosive opening duo of the ongoing league, Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma will face the bowling attack of KKR which Mitchell Starc will lead. The last time the SRH opening duo faced the Knights was in the qualifier, where both departed early. Starc dismissed Head on a duck and Abhishek returned to the pavilion after scoring three runs in Vaibhav Arora's over

Also, Sunil Narine, the most successful batsman for Kolkata in the ongoing season of the cash-rich league was only able to score 21 runs in the previous meet. SRH captain and lead pacer Pat Cummins managed to get Narine out

Previously, Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins has never led a team in T20 cricket. Surely, he tasted the success of winning the ODI World Cup and World Test Championship, but to win an Indian showpiece, Cummins need to be well aware of the Chidambaram track

In the last 27 meets in the IPL, the Knights have a better lead with 18 wins over the Risers with nine victories

KKR star all-rounder Sunil Narine will be celebrating his birthday, today against SRH's birthday boy Nitish Kumar Reddy

After having an upset start to the season, it seems like KKR lead pacer Mitchell Starc has regained his form. The speedster in qualifier one against SRH bagged three wickets for 34 runs in four overs. The side will expect the same heroics from the veteran, today in the Chepauk

Abhishek Sharma who is having a great season with the bat was seen delivering performances with the ball during their clash against Rajasthan Royals at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. He registered two wickets by conceding 24 runs in four overs. It will be interesting to see if Cummins passes the ball to Abhishek as they will play against KKR in the same venue
