KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan are named as two keeper-batsman in the squad ahead of the 2023 ODI World Cup. KL Rahul making a comeback after his leg surgery will be the most-eyed by Indians. Kishan looking in good touch in the white ball cricket is expected to continue his form for the upcoming mega event

Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli are in the top order of the team and are expected to take India to a fighting total in every match. Indians will expect Sharma and Kohli's heroics again from the 2019 World Cup  

Among Shreyas Iyer, Surya Kumar Yadav or Hardik Pandya, who will bat at no.4 will be the topic of discussion in the dressing room. Iyer is expected to fit best for the two-down spot in the team

Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav will be responsible for handling spin bowling for Team India. Jadeja and Axar are even capable of contributing with bat in the lower order of the team  

Shardul Thakur, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj are the names for the pace attack of the Indian team.
