Vinoo Mankad

Legendary all-rounder Vinoo Mankad is the oldest Indian cricketer to play a test match. Representing India in 44 tests, Mankad scored 2,109 runs including five centuries and six half-centuries. He made his last test appearance at the age of 41 years and 305 days

CK Nayudu

Cottari Kanakaiya Nayudu is the second oldest player to donn the Indian test jersey. He featured in just seven test matches and registered 350 runs inclduing 2 half-centuries. Nayudu played his last test when he was 40 years and 289 days old

Sachin Tendulkar

India great Sachin Tendulkar also has his name registered on the list. He played 200 test matches for India in which he accumulated 15,921 runs. He has 51 centuries and 68 half-centuries in the format. At the age of 40 years and 204 days, Tendulkar played his last test match

Rahul Dravid

Batting great Rahul Dravid is the fourth oldest Indian player to play in tests. He represented India in 164 tests and smashed 13,288 runs including 36 centuries and 63 half-centuries. Dravid donned the Indian test jersey for the last time at the age of 39 years and 13 days

Erapalli Prasanna

Veteran spinner Erapalli Prasanna is the fifth oldest cricketer to represent India in test cricket. He played 49 matches in the longest format of the game and picked 189 wickets. At the age of 38 years and 163 days, Prasanna made his last test appearance for the country
