The 26-year-old Ruturaj Gaikwad is named as captain of the Indian cricket team in the Asian Games 2023. Accompanying Ruturaj, all the youngsters are added in the squad
The batting lineup of the Indian team consists of Prabhsimran Singh, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rahul Tripathi. Jaiswal has shown his capability in tests he played for India and Rahul Tripathi comes with a lot of experience

All-rounders Shivam Dube, Washington Sundar and Shahbaz Ahmed will handle India's batting in the middle and lower order. Washington Sundar will be eyed by many people as he is one of the two contenders for the replacement of Axar Patel ahead of ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023
Shivam Mavi, Arshadeep Singh and Avesh Khan are the names for the pace attack of the Indian team
Along with other bowlers, more two names are added to the squad, Ravi Bishnoi and Mukesh Kumar. Ravi Bishnoi will handle the spin bowling whereas Mukesh Kumar with other pacers will look after clinching wickets with his pace
